Went to Montreal for Thanksgiving weekend and hung out with Megan Lau! It was a super fun, relaxing, and eventful weekend.
I love riding on the train on the eastcoast around thanksgiving. This trip was no different.
Montreal’s great bike Bixie bike share program makes it so easy to get around and Montreal put on a great time with the sunny weather.
Highlights include: frequenting St. Viateur bagels at least once a day for a bagel, going to the Scandinavean Baths designed by Saucier Perrote for a sauna (smelled like Christmas trees) steam and chill out, going to Au Pied du Cochon and having my mind blown by Martin Picard’s restaurant (watching the staff for some reason wrestle live huge eels around into a small tank… the eels weren’t even on the menu… odd), getting my poutine on a few times, helped Megan make an apple pie (I was on apple cutting duty).
All in all super amazing weekend.
