Went to Ottawa for the workshop related to the German Embassy competition we posted below. The Federal Republic of Germany was nice enough to send us Via Rail and and get us rooms for two nights at the Ottawa Jail Hostel. It’s a historical ex-jail turned hostel where you sleep in old cells. It was interesting. When we showed up there was one of those ghost walking tours happening.
Richard doing work on some German provided breakfast pastries.
We went to Carleton for the afternoon where we listened to some presentations, toured the studios and started the evening at the grad pub.
Went to The Works for an epic burger and some jugs of beerrrrrr. Went to a Carelton party where it was some kind of Halloween party.
